Tell us where and when.
The date and the place are enough to start. Everything below is useful, none of it is required. We reply to every enquiry ourselves, usually within two working days.
The date check sheet
Write it the way you would to a friend. If the plan is still moving, say so — we would rather read the real version than a tidy one.
What happens next.
We reply ourselves
Availability confirmed first, with the coverage sheet and a travel estimate for your destination.
A call, if you want one
Thirty minutes to talk through the shape of the days and what the photographs need to carry.
Agreement and date hold
A single-page agreement and a deposit. The date is yours from that point.
Timeline and logistics
We build the timeline backwards from sunset, agree family groups, and confirm travel.
Travel, availability and planning.
The things people usually ask before sending an enquiry, answered here instead.
We travel from Lisbon for the whole celebration. Portugal, Spain, Italy and France are a short flight; everywhere else is quoted per destination.
Before you send anything.
How far in advance should we write?
Most couples reach us nine to eighteen months out. Sooner is fine, and so is later — we keep a small number of dates open inside twelve months for celebrations that suit the studio.
Do you travel for a single day?
Yes, though the work suits a longer celebration better. If the day is the whole event we will say so and quote it plainly rather than pushing extra coverage.
How is travel handled?
Travel is quoted per destination and listed as its own line, never folded into the coverage figure. Flights, ground transport and accommodation for two photographers, booked by us.
When do we see the photographs?
A short preview within a week, and the full edit in six to eight weeks. Longer celebrations sit at the top of that range.
Do you hold a date while we decide?
We hold a date for seven days once availability is confirmed. Beyond that it goes back to the calendar — we do not run waiting lists.
