A calm process for a full celebration.
From the first email to the delivered gallery, the process is deliberately unhurried and specific. You always know what happens next, who we are talking to, and what we need from you.

A directed portrait, set up in four minutes between dinner and the band.
Portraits with direction. The rest with room to unfold.
We make a clear plan for portraits, family combinations and light, then leave enough space for the day to move at its own pace.
The room before everyone arrives is part of the coverage, not a warm-up.
One instruction, then whatever the wind decided to do.
The planning happens long before anyone picks up a camera.
We start with the date, the place and the shape of the celebration. From there we build a coverage plan: which events matter, where the light will be, how much travel is involved, and who needs to be photographed together.
Four to six weeks out we walk through the timeline with you and your planner, agree the protected hour for portraits and family groups, and confirm the practical details — arrival times, meals, dark-room ceremonies, anything we need permission for.
One hour directed. The rest observed.
On the day we arrive early and stay out of the way. The directed work is contained to the hour we agreed: portraits, family combinations, and any group that needs organising. Everything else is photographed as it happens.
Two photographers cover most celebrations — one with you, one with the room. We photograph the weather turning, the speeches running long, the people finding their seats, and the floor once no one is watching the camera.
Edited in sequence, the way the celebration ran.
A preview set of around forty images is delivered within a week. The full gallery follows within six weeks, edited in order — colour, unfiltered, and consistent from the first quiet hour to the last song.
Galleries are private, downloadable in full resolution, and stay online for two years. Albums and prints are ordered through the studio once you have lived with the edit for a while.
The result is a record of the celebration as a whole—not only the portrait hour.
Travel is quoted per destination, and planned early.
We arrive the day before the first event, wherever the celebration is. Flights, accommodation and local transport are quoted as a single line so there are no surprises later, and permits or venue restrictions are handled before you have to think about them.

The things couples ask before they book.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book nine to fourteen months out. Destination and multi-day celebrations are worth starting earlier, because travel and accommodation need to be planned around the events.
How does travel work?
Travel is quoted per destination as a single line covering flights, accommodation and local transport. We arrive the day before the first event, wherever the celebration is.
Do you photograph welcome dinners and day-after events?
Yes. Coverage is built around the events that matter, not a standard eight-hour day. Welcome dinners, rehearsal gatherings and next-morning breakfasts are all part of the plan when you want them covered.
How much of the day is directed?
One hour, agreed in advance: portraits, family combinations and any group that needs organising. Everything else is photographed as it happens.
When do we see the photographs?
A preview set of around forty images arrives within a week. The full gallery follows within six weeks, edited in order, and stays online for two years.
What happens if the weather turns?
We plan for it. Every timeline has an indoor alternative for portraits and the ceremony, and rain usually makes the evening better rather than worse.
Coverage shaped around the celebration— not forced into a standard day.
Some celebrations begin with dinner and end after breakfast. Others need one carefully planned afternoon. Collections are built around the events, travel and people that need to be covered.
Share the date, place and shape of the celebration. We’ll review availability, travel and coverage, then reply with the clearest next step.
